Blender Work Illustrating Various Techniques
Underground City - Sci-Fi Aspects
Stage 1: I made a basic block out of the distant city and rocks, keeping a careful eye on the camera angle along with the foreground and background
Stage 2 (Landscaping): During this stage I began texturing. I also figured to change the open air aspect of the city to one underground and creating an overhang to give the illusion of it being underground.
Stage 3 (Sculpting and VFX): Finally I began with sculpting the rocks I’ve laid out and adding in the clouds. I also decided during this to add a glowing mist around the foreground ruins.
Perspectives on the room.
Displayed here are two angles for a scene I made during a workshop for CGMA. Our task was to create a room, either one we can see or for us to create one. I chose to recreate the area of my house where I spend my time working. Included in the scene is my work desk, dual monitors, microphone, TV, and mini fridge.
Recreation of Waneella’s Summer Blue
Here we have a recreation I made of Waneella’s within the span of about 5 hours. I started my reconstruction by establishing the center point of the scene, being that of the sewer grate at the center and building the rest off from there.
Following this was the creation of the next eye drawing feature of the store building on the left. After blocking this out I moved on to the back wall of stores.
During my creation of the scene my thought-process was proper structural framing and making sure each building correctly flows into one another.
